Do you like seafood? Then you should attend the 2013 Pearland Crawfish Festival, from April 5th to April 7th at Shadow Creek Ranch.
The festival includes tons of boiled fresh crawfish, along with several other Cajun dishes. You can watch as the boilers season and cook the freshest crawfish from the Gulf Coast. In addition to spicy Cajun dishes, the weekend festival includes live music, including hits from the local Houston Blues Society.
There will be activities that the entire family can participate in — from arts and crafts booths to costume contests to crawfish-eating competitions. They will also include a children’s section with with more activities.
The festival runs Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. It costs $7 for adults and children and active military personnel receive free admission. Parking is $3.
